This 3-day training is for the school bookkeeper responsible for internal activities account bookkeeping.

Topics and areas of instruction included: 

  • SDHC fiscal policies and procedures as they relate to a school's checking account. Definition of internal accounts, cash management requirements and best practices
  • Receipting and depositing, disbursement procedure,
  • Account structure (classes, clubs, faculty, bookstore, etc.), activity procedures, 
  • Monthly reports and filing procedures  
  • Hands-on practice with the accounting software (INFOR / SAS).   
  • Posting transactions to accounts, producing receipts and checks, transaction documentation, and generating various reports. 
  • Managing MyPaymentsPlus activities and posting payments.
