This 3-day training is for the school bookkeeper responsible for internal activities account bookkeeping.
Topics and areas of instruction included:
- SDHC fiscal policies and procedures as they relate to a school's checking account. Definition of internal accounts, cash management requirements and best practices
- Receipting and depositing, disbursement procedure,
- Account structure (classes, clubs, faculty, bookstore, etc.), activity procedures,
- Monthly reports and filing procedures
- Hands-on practice with the accounting software (INFOR / SAS).
- Posting transactions to accounts, producing receipts and checks, transaction documentation, and generating various reports.
- Managing MyPaymentsPlus activities and posting payments.
