Course Description More Details
This PSD will be conducted conference-style. Training sessions will be offered for teachers who were unable to attend B.E.S.T. Mathematics Standards trainings prior to PSD. Mathematics teachers will have the opportunity to attend course-specific curriculum trainings directly from the publishers. Teachers will learn to implement newly adopted resources and to extend strategies for Mathematical Thinking and Reasoning Standards and B.E.S.T. Mathematics Standards.
Subject Area Leaders (SALs) will facilitate general sessions with teachers from their school sites. Topics will include:
· District and State Updates
· Curriculum Guide Updates
· Planning for Instruction
· The First Days of School
