This is an in-person follow up course to the self-paced Introduction to the BEST Math Standards Canvas course.  Please be sure you have completed that course prior to attending this Part 2 training. 

In this training you will explore deeper the new B.E.S.T. standards and benchmarks for K-5 Mathematics, the Mathematical Thinking and Reasoning Standards, the stages of arithmetic operations and developing fluency, and vertical and horizontal alignment of benchmarks. 

Teachers will receive a stipend upon completion of both the Canvas course and this in-person training.  (This does NOT include charter or private school teachers)

This course will be 5 hours in person and includes 5 hours of follow-up work to total the 10 hours of pay (this covers Part 1 and Part 2).
