Course Description
 More Details

This course will review foundations of social and emotional learning (SEL) and competencies. Participants will learn the four areas of school-wide SEL implementation. An emphasis will be on building a strong foundation and plan for SEL to build a safe and supportive classroom. The integration of SEL into all aspects of instruction to promote equitable outcomes for all students. Supporting teachers in their goal to build a positive and safe learning environment also depends upon adults who have strong social and emotional competencies. Participants will learn to engage simultaneous strategies that support both adult and students' SEL.
