Course Description
 More Details

Built on the 5E lesson model, STEMscopes Math shows students how math works in our everyday experiences.  STEMscopes Math also provides the resources teachers need to promote meaningful learning that empowers their students with 21st century skills for real-world application.

STEMscopes Florida Math was written for the new Florida B.E.S.T. standards and adopted as the main resources for K-5 mathematics in Hillsborough County.  When a school or district adopts a new instructional program for teachers to use to help students succeed in science or math, receiving implementation support is paramount if the program is to be used to its best advantage. STEMscopes provides implementation training to campuses and districts so teachers will be given the maximum opportunity to instruct using quality resources in a stress-free, productive, and engaging format. Through hands-on, inquiry-based strategies, teachers will develop an understanding of how STEMscopes are set up, where resources are located, and how to glide through lesson planning.

This training consists of 2 hours in person, with a 1-hour virtual follow up at a later date and time.
