Course Description More Details
The focus of this training is on the history of inclusion, legal mandates, inclusive classroom instructional strategies, Universal Design for Learning, and collaborative teaching Essentials. It will look at the steps schools can take to implement, expand, or improve their inclusive education practices. Finally, we will discuss the benefits of inclusive education for students with disabilities and the entire school community. Each class will be restricted to 20 participants and take place on Zoom.com The class will consist of a guided presentation followed by an open forum discussion. Links to the Zoom room will be provided 2-3 days prior to the start of the class.
