This 6hr training provides strategies for differentiated instruction in mixed ability classrooms. Open to all k-12 teachers, this training provides a variety of approaches are explored including flexible grouping, curriculum-based assessment, tiered lesson plans, and “low-prep” instructional strategies that can meet the needs of all learners across all ability levels. This workshop also focuses on the assessment of student learning and using the results to adjust instruction and learning. Teachers who attend this training leave with an array of practical strategies that they can differentiate and can apply immediately in any classroom.
