The HCPS AP Symposium is a professional development event designed to allow AP teachers and Coordinators to collaborate, discuss challenges, and share best practices in AP courses. This face-to-face event brings together teachers and coordinators from around the district for one day and there will be a continued focus on AP Classroom Resources (Course and Exam Descriptions (CED), unit guides, AP Daily Videos, personal progress checks, and AP Question Bank) abd APRO (Registration and Ordering policies and procedures). Teachers in attendance will discover ways to implement instructional strategies/planning, increase AP access and readiness for more students, participate in practice AP-scoring sessions, and to learn about AP program resources. Coordinators will discover ways to implement strategies to support teahcers and students via the registration and ordering process.
