PARTICIPANTS IN THIS COURSE MUST HAVE SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED THE INITIAL 12 HOUR NONVIOLENT CRISIS INTERVENTION or REFRESHER COURSE with the last year.  If you need to check on your NCI Certificate status, email you full names and Lawson number to Maylen Vazquez before the registration deadline. The Nonviolent Crisis Intervention: Keypoint Refresher course is a thorough review of core components of the program. Participants will bridge and integrate key concepts for a broader understanding of crisis development. There will be a stipend for this course for those staff who are not their contracted time.  No partial credit will be given. CONTACT Maylen Vazquez FOR MORE INFORMATION.  Pre-K Staff will need to contact the Pre-K ESE Program District Staff to get guidance and discussion on the appropriate trainings and/or need to take any NCI Courses. The Pre-K ESE program focuses mainly on prevention and uses of Prevent-Teach-Reinforce for Young Children strategies.  Only with an approval email from Pre-K ESE Program District Staff will Pre-K Staff be allowed to attend any NCI Courses.
