Executive Functioning: Assessment & Intervention

Our executive functioning skills are the “air traffic controller” of our brain, impacting essential skills such as emotion regulation, organization, attention, and self-management to name a few. Deficits or delays in the development of these skills impact a student’s social, academic, and behavioral success. In this skills-based training participants will review remediation planning for executive functioning deficits, assessment practices, and classroom-based interventions. During this training participants will be afforded with the application of the remediation planning process with a case study in a small group break-out session and guided feedback.
