This online book study explores UDL Now! by Dr. Katie Novak, which provides practical insights and savvy strategies for helping all learners meet high standards using the principles of Universal Design for Learning (UDL).  Participants will learn the building blocks of UDL; explore UDL strategies for teaching standards and scaffolding assignments and learn about online technology resources that support the UDL based learning environment.

There are two mandatory face-to-face meetings: Monday, October 9th, 4:30-6:30, ISC Rm. 128 and Monday, December 11th, 4:30-6:30, ISC Rm. 128.

Upon completion of this book study, participants will receive 20 in-service points.  In order to receive the 20 in-service points and to keep this book, the book study must be completed in its entirety.  If participants do not complete the book study, they must return the book to FDLRS Hillsborough.

This course counts towards the SB 1108 SWD Requirement.
