Course Description More Details
The session on starting to use the principles of Building Thinking Classrooms in Mathematics to create meaningful learning experiences. The goal for each participant is to learn how to use vertical boards, randomized groups, thinking tasks, and answering questions while utilizing B.E.S.T. Standards to increase intellectual student engagement. Mathematical Thinking and Reasoning Standards (MTRs) will also be a focus within grade level groups: 6th Math, 7th Math, PreAlgebra, and Algebra.
