It’s Okay to Play in VPK! What Educators Should Know About Intentional Teaching is the first training in a 2-part series and is based on the Florida Early Learning and Developmental Standards. This training builds on the participant’s knowledge of the standards as the participant learns why play is critical to the development of young children and how to intentionally teach and reinforce the standards through developmentally appropriate everyday activities.

This training is appropriate for preschool educators, directors and/or administrators.

Putting Play into Practice is the second training in a 2-part series for preschool educators, directors and/or administrators. This training uses the participant’s knowledge of the Florida Early Learning and Developmental Standards to facilitate hands-on learning. Participants will actively engage in developmentally appropriate activities that reinforce the standards in various learning centers typically found in a preschool classroom.
