Participants will learn how to incorporate assessment and progress moitoring tools to implement an explicit, structured approach to emergent reading and writing instruction through developing a rich understanding of the connection between reading and writing. Strategies aligned to understanding and applying ahe alphabetic princliples and the phoneme/grapheme mapping will be provided, and participants will be able to use strategies in alignments with a multi-sensory instructional approach embedded with intentionality throughout the school day. |
