Course Description More Details
This 3-hour training is designed for all Parent Facing Personnel (i.e., the front office support team/office manager/principal secretary, secretary, data processor, register, designated staff). The training provides a detailed interactive overview of Visitor and Volunteer Management including using Raptor (the district's safety and security sign-in system); visitor and volunteer policies, procedures, and protocols; the volunteer application process; volunteer reports; and the who, what, where, and how of front office visitor and volunteer management. Plus 30-minutes of Raptor hands-on. Attendees will walk away with a clear understanding of district-wide safety protocols, procedures, and security measures under the framework of a Safe, Supportive, and Collaborative Culture, as outlined in the High Reliability Schools model (Level 1 key Indicators 1.1, 1.2, 1.6).
