 More Details

This 3-hour training course is designed for all front office personnel (i.e., the front office support team/office manager/principal's secretary, secretary, data processor, registrar, designated staff). The training provides a detailed interactive overview of Visitor Management including using Raptor (the district's safety and security sign-in system); visitor and volunteer policies, procedures, and protocols; the volunteer application process; visitor and volunteer reports; and the who, what, where, and how of front office visitor management. Plus 30-minutes of Raptor hands-on. Attendees will walk away with a clear understanding of district-wide safety protocols, procedures, and security measures under the framework of Florida Safe Schools (3.1.2 and 3.1.3); and a Safe, Supportive, and Collaborative Culture, as outlined in the High Reliability Schools model (Level 1 key Indicators 1.1, 1.2, 1.6).

Who should attend? The principal's secretary, at least one staff member, new staff, and front office staff that have not attended training this school year.
