In this session, we will focus on Element 33 from The New Art and Science of Teaching, which highlights the importance of modifying rules and procedures to enhance classroom management and student engagement. Teachers will participate in a collaborative group activity, working together to modify existing classroom routines, apply the strategies discussed, and share insights. To ensure high energy and active participation, we will maintain a lively pace, modeling the importance of dynamic instructional delivery. By the end of the session, participants will not only deepen their understanding of classroom management adjustments but also experience firsthand how pacing impacts student engagement.
