This online class will provide a basic introduction, in easily digestible “bytes”, to Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and focus on the Guidelines and Principles and some facts and myths. Participants in this course will explore various multi-modal resources to become better acquainted with UDL and its practical application in the classroom. This course is relevant to all subject areas and will provide in-service points toward the “instruction of Students with Disabilities” credit required by SB 1108. The course is completed online, independently, and online using Canvas.  You will log into Canvas using your Lawson number and district password.

This course counts towards the SB 1108 SWD Requirement.
