Course Description More Details
Participants will attend a 2-day training hosted by Space Trek at The MOSI Center for Learning!
Teachers will attend a 12-hour professional learning experience that will add the AI Extension kit to the ExoNaut with a focus on programming related to color, facial, object, bar code, and road sign recognition. This professional learning supports New Art and Science Teaching Element 9 (Using Structured Practice Sessions), Element 11 (Examining Errors in Reasoning), Element 12 (Engaging students in Cognitively Complex Tasks), and Element 18 (Revising Knowledge).
Example Features:
Color Recognition: Recognizes and frames colors on the display. Provides information on the color’s
position, size etc. The user can program which color is detected, tracking of color etc.
QR Code Recognition: The AI Cam Extension excels in recognizing QR codes and framing them. With the 12Cconnector, external devices can use this QR code data.
Road Sign Detection: Using the Landmark recognition model to recognize the picture and present the corresponding ID number on display.
Teachers will receive points, stipend and materials (12 AI Cams and 2 Autonomous Driving Kits) for attending the training.
