Course Description More Details
In this course participants will understand how planning for authentic engagement helps teachers design instruction that allows students with diverse interests, strengths, identities, needs, and values to connect to their learning. Authentic engagement encompasses how students bring themselves to their learning, work, and relationships-rather than simply going through the motions of school. When students experience authentic engagement, they feel connected to the content, engage with their work, and feel like their learning matters.
