Course Description More Details
This course is designed for site-based teacher leaders (Dept. heads, SALs, team leaders, resource teachers, etc.) that support the growth and practice of teacher pedagogy. Participants will review and deepen their knowledge of the principles for building coaching relationships, practice skills for facilitating positive coaching conversations, and explore the purpose and guiding steps behind effective coaching. Participants will have an opportunity to apply their coaching skills of identifying entry points, collecting data, and debriefing next steps by observing classroom practice and engaging in practice feedback conversations.
