This is a virtual, synchronous (live) training. Learn how to introduce students to the basics of research, including using keywords, conducting searches, and browsing Topic Pages, all while using age-appropriate content. In this session, we will explore the extensive collection of content available through Gale databases, designed specifically for elementary learners and provided to you by the Florida Electronic Library and the HCPS Library Media Services Department. From engaging articles to multimedia resources and a large collection of eBooks, Gale provides a wealth of materials to support curriculum integration, foster critical thinking, and ignite a love for learning. Learn how to effectively navigate the user-friendly interface, access reliable information, and utilize Microsoft integration features to find and share the most suitable resources for your students. Leave this training session equipped with practical tips, best practices, and a deeper understanding of how to utilize Gale In Context: Elementary to engage your students in meaningful research experiences.
