Training covered processing content (i.e. student-led discussions, small group, partner discussions), linguistic recording and representing content (i.e. essay writing, timed writing, note-taking, short answer responses), and nonlinguistic recording and representing content (i.e. graphic organizers, pictorial notes, student produced models) as methods of building student engagement across content.
