ALA is a National Library Conference.  Library media specialists will have the opportunity to learn from various professional learning workshops throughout the conference, including standards connected library instruction, best practices in instructional collaboration, research skills development, digital and print literacy, web based tools and apps, and the latest trends and developments in school librarianship and education. In addition, nationally acclaimed and state-award winning authors will provide sessions and signing opportunities. Conference attendance and travel must be pre-approved by school sites and via district procedures. Registering here does NOT constitute registration for the conference.  You must register for the ALA Conference on their website and provide proof of attendance for your points to be assigned.
