This 3-hour interactive training is designed for all front office personnel, including front office support staff, office managers/principal secretaries, data processors, registrars, and other designated staff.
The course provides a comprehensive overview of Visitor Management using the Raptor system, the district’s platform for managing visitors and volunteers. Topics covered include:
- Visitor and Volunteer policies, procedures, and protocols
- Safe School requirements as it relates to all visitor types
- The volunteer application process
- Generating and interpreting visitor and volunteer reports
- Best practices for front office visitor and volunteer engagement (who, what, where, and how)
Participants will gain a clear understanding of district-wide safety procedures and security protocols aligned with Florida Safe Schools standards (3.1.2 and 3.1.3) and the High Reliability Schools framework, specifically Level 1 Key Indicators 1.1, 1.2, and 1.6, supporting a Safe, Supportive, and Collaborative Culture.
Who should attend? The principal’s secretary, front office staff, new front office staff members, and any front office staff who have not attended this training within the last two school years, and any other staff member the principal determines is appropriate to attend.
