This training is for SECONDARY ESE teachers ONLY.

In this training, participants will learn how to analyze reading data to accurately identify specific skill-based deficits impacting student performance. By pinpointing these targeted areas of need, ESE teachers will be better equipped to design and implement appropriate specially designed instruction (SDI) that supports meaningful student growth. This session emphasizes data-driven decision-making to ensure instructional interventions and strategies are aligned with individual student needs.

Required Materials:

  • Must Bring – Assessment Data for 1 student
  • CORE Maze Comprehension Assessment
  • CORE Masi-R Oral Reading Fluency
  • CORE Vocabulary Assessment
  • San Diego Quick Assessment (CORE or REWARDS)
  • iSPIRE – if appropriate
