Course Description More Details
Participants will learn the basics of completing a functional behavior assessment and how to develop a behavior Intervention plan. The district and state requirements will also be reviewed. Schools are encouraged to send teams. This course will be offered via Zoom. You must successfully complete (Score an 80% or higher) the FBA Nearpods Part 1 & 2., prior to getting accepted into the FBA Face-to-Face course. Information on how to access the NEARPOD will be provided in the PDS confirmation email. Because of the virtual interactive nature of the course, participants will need to be connected using a computer. In order to verify your participation and receive in-service credit, all participants must have their camera on and remain active in Zoom or Teams throughout the course. For safety reasons, no driving while attending. Participants cannot miss more than 15 minutes of content. If you are not able to comply with the requirements for the course, please withdraw from this virtual session.
