Course Description More Details
Teachers will participate in a 3 hour training to support the identification of misconceptions by supporting content knowledge through their own practices and the scaffolding of background knowledge for their students. This training will embed strategies to support HOW to uncover the student thinking and where to find the resources to support but the adult learner content knowledge and the student support systems. Teachers will engage in hands on inquiry learning cycles to support these practices of informal assessment. Teachers will walk away with materials to successfully implement strategies shared.
