Course Description More Details
This face-to-face session for elementary school administrators serves to provide a brief OVERVIEW of the Flamingo Literacy Small Group Instruction model from the University of Florida Lastinger Center for Learning.
Through this course, participants will develop an understanding of the individual steps within this model, classroom look fors, as well as the similarities and differences to past instructional models used in HCPS. This course is only intended for administrators. For a deeper understanding of this model, participants should register for a seat in the 40-hour HCPS Flamingo Literacy Institute.
This course does not qualify for explicit reading points towards recertification.
