The Nonviolent Crisis Intervention: Units 1-7 & 10 training provides information on student behaviors of anxiety, defensive, and tension reduction and the corresponding teacher response. Participants will be able to identify student behavior levels and respond accordingly.
THIS IS NOT THE INITIAL NONVIOLENT CRISIS INTERVENTION TRAINING. PARTICIPANTS WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE TO ATTEND REFRESHERS AT THE COMPLETION OF THIS COURSE. THIS COURSE IS NOT CONSIDERED THE FULL INITIAL 12 HOUR NONVIOLENT CRISIS INTERVENTION COURSE. THIS COURSE WILL NOT COUNT TOWARDS THE NCI RENEWAL REQUIREMENT.
