n this in-person training, participants will explore how to apply the Building Thinking Classrooms framework in 9–12 science classrooms to boost student engagement, critical thinking, and collaboration. Through hands-on activities and modeled lessons, educators will learn how to structure learning environments that promote problem-solving, productive talk, and student-led inquiry. This session focuses on practical strategies that align with science content, including vertical whiteboarding, randomized groups, and meaningful note-making tailored for biology, chemistry, physics, and Earth/space science. Walk away with ready-to-implement ideas that transform how students think and learn in science.
