OPEN LAB – 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM

Join us for the Raptor System Hands-On Open Lab, open to:

  • All Visitor Management Training participants (following the morning session)
  • Front office personnel, including support staff, office managers, principal secretaries, data processors, registrars, and other designated team members seeking additional support with system operations.

Drop in at your convenience and stay as long as you need!

This open lab offers practical, hands-on experience with the Raptor system—the district's official platform for managing campus visitors and volunteers.

Topics include:

  • Visitor Management: Sign-in/out procedures for various visitor types
  • Volunteer Management: Verification processes, requirements, and restrictions
  • Reporting: Creating and pulling system reports
  • Managing Large Groups
  • Frequently Asked Questions & Common Mistakes
  • Best Practices: Effective front office engagement with visitors and volunteers (who, what, where, how)

Who should attend?

  • Principal’s secretary
  • Front office staff (especially those new to the role)
  • Any front office team members who haven’t attended this training in the past two school years
  • Any other staff the principal deems appropriate
