Course Description
 More Details

This training is intended to provide district staff with tools and insight into teaching Indigenous populations. We will focus on the barriers that the modern Indigenous student faces and how these barriers are created through cultural experience, systemic trauma, and lack of honest representation. In learning how to understand the Indigenous perspective, district staff will be better equipped to engage in meaningful discussion with a wide range of cultures by understanding the various spectrums of identity that arise within minority populations.

**Teams link will be shared the week of training.
