This course is reserved for District Alternative Certification Program Participants. 

 

This course focuses on the domains of HCPS Rubric for Effective Teaching, a comprehensive system of educational research which addresses effective teaching, and how they can be demonstrated by the FEAPs.  In the course, participants examine research and practice skills in planning, management of student conduct, lesson organization and development, knowledge of subject matter, verbal and nonverbal communication and student assessment.  Teachers discuss research-based effective teaching behaviors and how those lead to increased classroom success.
