The five practices are a set of related instructional routines that can help you design and implement lessons that address important mathematical content in ways that build on students' thinking. In Part 1 of this 3 Part series, you will explore the first pre-practices (Practice 0) Setting Goals and Selecting Tasks as well as (Practice 1) Anticipating student responses.
