Course Description
 More Details

AICE Environmental Science Teachers will engage in a variety of environmental and freshwater activities to bring science to life for their students using the Project WET program guide activities and the natural resources of 365-acre property of Nature's Classroom.  This training will also begin to prepare AICE teachers to become independent teacher facilitators on the campus and to have access to the Nature's Classroom site for freshwater systems field study experiences with their students. After completing this training, teachers will receive free charter transportation for a field trip to Nature's Classroom in February, March, or April 2025, based on transportation availability. The Project WET K-12 program guide, and a selection of materials will be provided to each in attendance. Teachers will also be provided with an opportunity to complete their field trip paperwork and submit their field trip proposal to the site administrator, Karen Johnson, for transportation.
