Course Description
 More Details

ABC and Beyond draws from current research on what early literacy skills children need to learn and the most effective ways to build these skills. Using an explicit and systematic approach to emergent literacy instruction, this book study offers strategies to maximize children’s early literacy learning by making the most of everyday conversations and shared book reading.

Through completion of this course, participants will be able to utilize research-based strategies for promoting emergent literacy skills, shown to predict academic success, including: Oral Language, Vocabulary, Story Comprehension, Language of Learning, Print Knowledge, and Phonological Awareness.

In addition, participants will receive turn key parent training as well as the parent companion book, 'I'm Ready'.
