K-5 music teachers will be trained in John Feierabend's method of "First Steps" and "Conversational Solfege". Musical rhythms and tonal concepts as well as music literacy strategies will be emphasized in alignment with the NGSSS and the district curriculum.  This training is self-paced on Canvas.
