Course Description
 More Details

If you have not already attended this annual training, join us for a 5-day experential workshop that will immerse you in the Hillsborough River Watershed.  You will participate as a "student" in hands-on activities, both indoor and outdoor to later take to your classes, paddle the Hillsborough River and visit off-site locations such as Crystal Springs Preserve and the Water Treatment Plant to learn about our local water system.  You will receive program activity guides full of activities for use in your content areas: Project WET, Healthy Water Healthy People, and Discover a Watershed.

Participants must be able to commit to all 5 days, provide own transportation to the off-site locations and spend extended time in the Florida summer weather. You will need to be able to climb stairs and get in/out of a canoe.  A final product of a grant proposal, using what you have learned and the resources received, will complete your professional development and allow full inservice points awarded.
