The Nonviolent Crisis Intervention: course participants will bridge and integrate key concepts for a broader understanding of crisis development. There will be a stipend for this course for those staff who are not their contracted time. No partial credit will be given. CONTACT Tim Waite FOR MORE INFORMATION.
If you are employed by an Agency, please note that the District does not pay Agency employees stipends for NCI trainings. You may be able to submit your training hours to your employer for payment, check with your hiring Agency for their policy.
Pre-K Staff will need to contact the Pre-K ESE Program District Staff to get guidance and discussion on the appropriate training(s) and/or need to take any NCI Courses. The Pre-K ESE program focuses mainly on prevention and uses of Prevent-Teach-Reinforce for Young Children strategies. Only with an approval email from Pre-K ESE Program District Staff, will Pre-K Staff be allowed to attend any NCI Courses
