Join us for an in-depth, hands-on training session on Sensory Programs and Related Services. During this session, you will engage in simulations for visual impairments, hearing loss, and physical disabilitities. You will learn about Specially Designed Instruction (SDI) for individuals who are visually imparied, deaf or hard of hearing, and those requiring school-based occupational or physical therapy. Additionally, we will discuss common myths and misconceptions about these programs and disabilities. You explore strategies to address common concerns such as handwriting, mobility, and sensory issues.
