This online book study explores UDL Now! by Dr. Katie Novak, which provides practical insights and savvy strategies for helping all learners meet high standards using the principles of Universal Design for Learning (UDL). Participants will learn the building blocks of UDL; explore UDL strategies for teaching standards and scaffolding assignments and learn about online technology resources that support the UDL based learning environment.
There is a face-to-face orientation meeting: Monday, April 15th, 2024, 4:30-5:30, ISC Rm. 130. You will receive your book at this orientation meeting.
This Book Study will begin April 15th and will officially end July 12th, 2024.
Upon completion of this book study, participants will receive 20 in-service points. In order to receive the 20 in-service points and to keep this book, the book study must be completed in its entirety. If participants do not complete the book study, they must return the book to FDLRS Hillsborough.
This course counts towards the SB 1108 SWD Requirement.
