As a component of the 7 hour K-12 Science/STEM Academy, SALs will attend 3 hours of focused training sessions: the Instructional Leaders in 6-8 Science will join together to participate in a reflective discussion on their Leadership Learning over the 23-24 School Year, gain awareness of and begin to practice actions outlined in the research-based “Leadership by and for Science Teachers” resource to include making informed recommendations and coordinating with another teacher leader who attends the ILA (to build leadership capacity in their science dept)
